There's a few layers for the bass, which were made in Serum. The sustain bass has a flanger effect on it.

I was really into making "actiony" music years ago. Without trying to explain it too much here, this and many like it were for bosses - but they aren't in a game - rather just ideas of bosses and their music. I'd tag it such if it were for a real playable experience!
